DIVE ALOHA
Our Mission:
To create meaningful job opportunities and contribute to the rebuilding of our community in the aftermath of the devastating Maui wildfires, helping restore the lives and livelihoods of those who have lost friends, workplaces, and homes.
First diving into the West Maui waters in January 2020, the company expanded after the Wildfires of Aug 8, 2023, destroyed our town and home, nearly all profits were donated to fire survivors in the first few months following the disaster. The following year, we created jobs for those who lost their jobs due to the fire and saw our ‘ohana grow. We continue to donate scuba diving experiences to the community. We also provide funding for reforestation efforts and other community initiatives.
The guiding principle of the company remains the same: give back to the community and provide exhilarating, beautiful, and safe scuba adventures.

ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP
Carbon Buddy is an organization dedicated to combating climate change through reforestation. They focus on planting trees in areas like the Waikoloa Dry Forest in Hawai’i to restore and preserve local ecosystems.
Aloha Maui Diving partners with Carbon Buddy by actively participating in tree planting initiatives. Our contributions help to restore and preserve the Waikoloa Dry Forest and promote a greener future for Hawai’i. Every dive you book with Aloha Maui Diving supports our partnership with Carbon Buddy.
The Waikoloa Dry Forest is a unique ecosystem in Hawai’i that is home to various native plant species. Restoring this forest helps to preserve biodiversity, protect endangered species, and combat climate change.
Absolutely! We emphasize eco-friendly diving practices, including reef-safe sunscreen, no-touch policies for marine life, and proper disposal of waste.
